This script is based from ideas off Jason Schleifer's website, John's Dog. It is designed to bake out the deformation information of a character using Maya's built in jiggle cache function. All other character nodes can then be discarded before render time to, theoretically, increase render speed. It works under the assumption that all of your character's geometry are parented under one node, and executes as a shelf item. To operate, select your geometry hierarchy node, go to an active perspective view (This is due to a bug in the jiggle cache function, it doesn't seem to work if you're not in an active modelling view.), and click the script. It will create a duplicate of the original and cache in the animation data.

Script is currently under the beta testing phase. All documentation is included in the header of the script body.Any inputs would be highly appreciated. Please send them to: martinik24@gmail.com.
