this tool crieates a follicle (or a couple at a time)
follicles normally get created with hair systems, this tool creates a clean follicle with no extra hair garbage attached.
all you need to do is select a face, or edge, or vertex, or UV and run the tool
new the tool now also supports NURBS surfaces!! select either a surface point or surface UV and run the tool
the tool will automatically create a group to place all the follicles in
if you have overlapping UV's on the UV map theres a good chance the follicle will be placed in the wrong position, so just make sure that your UV's are setup properly
usage example:
good for adding things like buttons and zippers to cloth sim objects, it follows the cloth and moves angle etc..
another use is adding bits and pieces to a character rig, client wants small frilly things sticking to the jacket? done!
