this script allows users to manage their camera bookmarks in an easy way and offers some extra features as well. note: if you're using version 1.0, please download a newer one, since 1.0 has some annoying bugs.
starting from version 1.1, the script has two versions, one is integrated into the maya gui and the other one is a standalone floating window. the maya gui version is accesible by clicking on an extra button above the channel box (thanks tchoa for helping me with that).
how to use:
- click on a camera name to see all available (existing) bookmarks in the list below;
- right-click on a camera name to get a popup menu;
- double-click on a camera name to look through that camera;
- right-click on a bookmark to get a popup menu;
- double-click on a bookmark to make it active;
- right-click over the mini channel box area to get a popup menu (after you extended the frame, of course - GUI integrated version only);
check the mel files headers for more detailed info on how to install the script and known bugs/limitations.
what's new in v1.2.3 :
- added a small window for quick access to the overscan value (click on the resolution gate option box in the cameras list popup menu);
- added quick access to the image plane attributes (click on the image plane option box in the cameras list popup menu);
- added a configuration menu for how the script deals with cameras (ctrl + rmb-click in the cameras list);
- added auto-naming of bookmarks (as requested; to enable it, ctrl + rmb-click in the cameras list);
- added the option to auto-expand (or not) the mini channel box when maya starts; see the new config menu;
you can still expand or collapse the frame at will, of course;
