Drag onto a default NURBS sphere. Other objects will obviously require a bit of a play to get the desired results...
I've labelled everything in the tree to be fairly idiot-proof (not suggesting that anyone who downloads this is an idiot, by doing so you are by definition a connoisseur of fine shaders). If you see a node called 'SPATIAL' open it up and give it a spatial projection. 'UV', a UV one etc. etc...
To change the blend, simply pipe your matte into the spacer node called 'BLENDER'. Simple as that.
I also added a switch to the displacement as it looks quite nice without it (and obviously renders a darn sight faster too)......
Displacement settings (for default NURBS sphere):
Distance: 0.05 / Angle: 2 / Max Steps: 4
Enjoy!
