This script generates a grid of cylinders under a poly plane sculpted in Y direction and animate those. It has a gui to manage the all parameters.
Colors are taken from a ramp and assigned by the height of cylinders in two different ways. There could be a jiggle deformer for each to do a better effect.
This script is worthless but nice :-)
