Hullo!

The idea behind this tool is that you can duplicate your shot camera and convert that duplicate in a stepped version of the original camera. When you have heavy movement of characters in stepped animation in a moving splined camera, the camera spacing can become a real issue to work with. So to keep things clear, you would need your camera also in stepped on the same frames as your characters.

USAGE:
There is a help window inside the tool going over the different options.

INSTALLATION:
Paste the MEL files in your Maya scripts forlder: C:\Users\?User?\Documents\maya\?version?\scripts
and run this MEL line inside Maya:
svm_createDupeCam_UI();
(you can make a shelf button for that)
Or put the files in any location and source them with a button, but don't forget the command: svm_createDupeCam_UI();
To remove the tool out of your maya, simply delete the files.

Enjoy!
