Parents the shape node of the first object selected to the other object. Thus, combining them as one object. Handy for creating different kinds of controls for rigs.
Installation: Copy contents of the "script" directory to your scripts directory: You can check your scripts directory by typing "internalVar -usd;" in the command line.
Copy the contents of the "icons" directory to your maya icons directory: You can check your icons directory by typing "internalVar -ubd;" in the command line.
Usage: Execute in ScriptEditor (in a Python tab): import rr_connectShape reload (rr_connectShape) rr_connectShape.connectShape()
You can highlight those lines and middle click and drag it to your shelf to create a shelf icon.
