Send/Recieve messages in Maya! LFmessenger v.5.0 1.5.0 for Maya (maya script)

This script allows user's to send messages from Maya to anyone within the studio/lab on a standard windows network. A nice feature of this scriptis that the recipient does not need Maya to be running or installed to recieve messages sent from LFmessenger. To install just place this file into your scripts directory (since this is a windows only script your path should most likely be "C:Documents and Settings / user / My Documents / maya / 7.0 scripts / LFmessenger.mel". To use simply enter the username/machine name/workgroup of the individual you want to send a message to in the "To" field followed by the message in the "Message" field and click 'Send'. For more details please refer to the 'Help Screen' in the 'Help' menu.This script uses window's 'Run' command therefore it does not support other operating systems. If the username of the recipient is used in the 'To' field then the message will be sent to whatever machine that user is currently logged in to. Version 1.5 now sends messages in the background which prevents Maya from locking up if recipient does not exist on network. Online support was also added and is accessible through 'Help' menu (launches web browser and goes to LFmesenger thread in my forum).
