Protect is a simple way that I found to protect my files in non secure areas. Now I share it with you.
What you should do is to run this tool, add your password to the scene and press the button.
Next time, you couldn't open the file without password. remember save your file in binary mode (.mb)

If it is your first python script installation, take a look at this page:
Put script in your PYTHONPATH folder then type:
from protect import * protect().ui()
Drag and drop the code to shelf and set it's icon.
Notice: This is not the best protection method, but works most of the time.
