ProjectOverview is a simple project and file manager.

Features:

open files from project
set project
open project folder in explorer
file filter
import files
run scripts
add your own project paths

I've tested it with maya 2012 & 2013.

To add a project to the project list, simply place them in the "%HOMEPATH%\Documents\maya\projects" folder or add the path to the ProjectOverview.setup file in your maya preference folder.

The file should look like this

Projects
C:/Your/Project/Folder/
C:/Another/Project/Folder/
Single Project
D:/Your/Project
D:/Another/Project

Use / instead of \
add a / to the end of all "Projects" folder paths (! not for single projects !)

Under "Projects" add paths to Folders with multiple projects
Under "Single Projects" add paths to a project folder.

It will update in maya as soon as you press reload in the context menu or simply restart maya.
