The idea is pretty neat actualy. Now there is a problem with the implementation. Its not secure enough! But it was challenging to crack, tough something that took about 5 minutes to cook up. anyway if you load the file withfile -o filenameto.open.ext; proc file(){};
you can now go and ask maya what the password is then restart maya and use that. Thanx for the mind challenge. Anyway this script just shows that maya files are dagerous indeed, since disk format could be executed or anything realy. But fortunately redeclaring file, sytem and fopen and so on (all socket and file statements along system) lets you examine if the essecene is harmfull. Thank god for that. just be warned careleeslly openeing mb files you do not originate can hijack your computer! no question about it if you do not use theese safeguards. Offcourse because i do use tham all teh time on new files i did get a whiff immideately how to circumvent theis protection. Sorry for going public im just showing how ballently easy its to protect yourself form amliccious code :) -
