A script that would be actually be useful for all Mental Ray users until next version, will tessellate all subdivs in scene so that you can render (and convert to file textures) using Mental Ray without trouble. Will keep history, original subdiv surfaces are still here (only flagged as "intermediate objects") and will preserve instances too.
