I am a cMotionTrail die-hard (a very old, very fast script that hasn't been updated since 2006) but this one is pretty close for a simple curve display with every tick, not just the key frames (looking at you, default Maya Motion Trails.) I got my start in Max without a curve editor but with Max's "trajectory" function, which 17 years ago, was still more intuitive than any trail tool Maya offers today IMO. cMotionTrail was the closest; this is the second closest and I've tried a few now. The on-the-fly adjustment the curve offset is really cool (track the character's nose instead of the skull bone! Nice!) And these scripts are worthless without auto-update so thank you for that! Two suggestions: 1)Anything you can do to make it update faster or at least, not hang the rest of the scene while the curve updates would be a massive workflow improvement 2)Color customization of the spline! When I go Wireframe, everything is purple...and so is my curve, which limits it's usefulness. Fix these two things and you'll dethrone the reigning champion (of my heart) motion trail!
