This script replaces all selected object materials/shaders to lambert, without breaking the link of applied texture.
(Motive behind script) When importing scenes from 3ds max to maya as fbx, sometimes the fbx messes up the materials due to incompatibility of material support and you see multiple objects applied with phong with full ambient colour attribute (you see full bright models in render). This script replaces those phongs/other materials to lamberts for selected objects without losing the texture applied to those objects.
Usage: Just put this script in your shelf, select the objects that need to be replaced to lambert material and click the shelf icon of script.
