This simple interface makes animating multiple characters much easier by allowing the user to add or remove keyframes from multiple character sets at once.
In addition it allows the user to save a pose to reset the character to.
There is also a reset button for individual selected nodes. (this resets the current selection to the zero'd out pose, but does not alter custom attributes.
If you add more character sets to the scene there is an update button under the menu button. There are also direct links within the dialog box for the graph editor / dopesheet and playblast.

Known limitations: If you have nested character sets selecting the character set parent will not allow keyframes on the children; the children need to be selected to keyframe.

Use, either copy to your script folder so that it is automatically sourced (then type GSFATCAO) or source and run from the script editor.

Note on the silly name: One of my students decided to describe it as ' Georgs Script For Animating Two Characters At Once' so it is now called GSFATCAO
