Well... by converting string arrays to and from string notation, Compound List tools provides this functionality within MEL. cLists work just like string arrays only they are stored as regular strings. So, you can make an array of arrays. This is awesome for working with associative lists, such as a list of objects and the of unique keyable channels associated with each object.
