here's a script to be able to change the deformation order of deformers in the channel box.
First highlight the deformer in the channel box then run script.
two commands to move the deformer up or down in the deformation order
changeOrderUp 1 move the deformer up in the deformation order changeOrderUp 0 move the deformer down in the deformation order
remember you must first have you deformer highlighted in the channel box before running either.
deformers are listed usually under INPUTS in the channel box.
this is also a good script to see if your deformers are hooked up correctly, as the maya command to change deformation order won't work if your deformers have a bad deformation history.
only works with blendShape, ffd, cluster, skinCluster, softMod, sculpt, jointCluster, wire, jointLattice, and boneLattice deformers.
