MENTAL RAY POLYGON COLOR PER VERTEX RENDERING PACK
This package allows Maya users to bake and render
vertex colors in mental ray for Maya. The screenshot
shows Final Gathering baked to vertex colors.
ADVANTAGES:
- Avoids using texture files for baking.
- Geometry stores baked data.
- Baked geometry can be imported/exported.
- Allows fast rendering on large sequences and environments.
- MR_cpvShader node can be used as utility or material shader.
- Single MR_cpvShader node capable of rendering multiple surfaces.
