I like this piece because in many ways its the first 3D model I've made in my own angular style. I thought that despite the level of detail on my hi poly soldier he just didn't have enough character. My mind set for this piece was to make something fairly realistic with cartoony mannerisms. He still needs some work and after this piece I want to create a more cartoony one...perhaps a nemesis for my toaster.

A low poly sniper rifle I made in softimage in order to get to grips with working to a poly count. I set myself a target of 3000 polys whilst trying to stay below that amount I also wanted a detailed model. The end result was just below 2200 polys.
