A sub-pixel erode node. I know, there's Keychew and some other things out there, but I kind of like this approach. Not as elegant in design as Keychew, but it has the advantage of keeping the dilate/erode crisp at discreet pixel intervals. Perfect for lipo on a key edge, as long as you're not planning on animating the erosion or dilation, in which case animation of blending will go through discreet changes in softness near whole pixel values.
