This Opacity Script changes the transparency value of the mesh's material in toggle mode. So it works like the standard xray function, except for it turns to transparent selected meshes only.

Its handy script when you need to have a good look at some part of your model that overlapped
by another part. Also it useful when used with reference images in scene, so  you see every model with the same material as transparent while your reference image stays non-transparent.

To use this script just select objects that needs to become transparent then run it from your shelf.
Rerun will restore material transparency back to 1.0

Installation:
place files from archive to your  "..../my documents/maya/your maya version/script" folder
