Context sensitive right click menus reflecting the menu set mode of
maya - currently "Polygons" and "Dynamics" are implemented. Standard
menu set is used when not in above modes.
Polygonal
context menus are trying to mirror Mirai/Nendo functionality to improve
the default modeling workflow. Available operations are based on what
kind of element is selected. Dynamics menus are just a bunch of menu
items thrown together, not complete at all.
Many things could
be improved and implemented (especially a way to get option boxes in
the menus also...), but my main focus was getting a sensible modeling
workflow quick & dirty out of maya, without too much of an extra hassle.
( MJPolyTools and Maya Bonus Tools are needed to get 'connect' and 'bridge faces' to work, otherwise it should be just fine)
Installation: just copy this file to your home /maya/8.0/scripts and you are set.
If you modify this script during runtime, just source it again ie. source "e:/maya/8.0/scripts/dagMenuProc.mel"
This is for 8.0 but 8.5 propably works (not tested) also.
