Copy contents of VertexAlign.py to script-editor, drag code from there into shelf, select python
Go to Preferences> Selectionand enable Track Selection Order
How to use:
Select the two verts you want to align to
Add the verts you want to align to the selection
Execute script from shelf button
Note:
The vertices will align along theinfinite spanof the line
