Nice but doesn't work for me, // Error: renderWindowEditor: Object 'renderView' not found. after one frame :( It will be nice to choose a camera in it too ;)

Cool Tool Shiv, - with Maya 2009 is the render view pops up and stops the scrip asking to "select the current layer"...naturally, this defeats the gain in speed. - It would also be nice if it can use frame padding as some comp / editing apps have issues with sequencing without them. -Unfortunately due to the pop-ups, Ill have to make my own.

Ok looks like i spoke too soon, i just came back home after leaving rTools rendering a 999 frames animation, only to find Maya frozen solid at frame 558. Frames from 373 up to 558 were nothing but the default blue. Something must have gone really wrong here. I had to kill Maya from the Task manager.

Very nice, this script allows for rendering stability without the need of a higher-end workstation. Now i don't have to worry about my rendering batch crashing in the middle of the night! Great job!

This is exactly what I needed. I had a scene that batch rendering with hardware rendering was taking hours, it took less than 5 minutes with this tool.
