you dont like the duplicate faces that come with maya?, no problem, with SD_duplicateFaces you can duplicate all your selected faces with any problem, you can duplicate even if you select multiple objects.
Then automatic select the new duplicate faces to improve the workflow. And if you are in object mode, automatic change to face mode.
Plus SD_extractFaces, the same but insted of duplicate the faces the script extract the faces from the originals objects.
