This script mimics Maya's fix texture warp option, but does this in the shading network rather than on a per object basis. The script works by measuring the surface length and the surface's UV range. It then creates a texture based on the difference of the two. The resulting texture is connected to a place 2D texture node's offset attributes, with several other nodes created depending on the settings chosen and whether mental ray or the Maya software renderer is to be used.
