ok - 1.3 is updated so that it works with filenames with a single underscore as the delimiter. -
Dave Girard said about 11 years ago:
the underscore naming assumes it's from Realflow so it doesn't recognize that one. You need to use a batch file renamer to change them from _ to . until I can update this. -

There is an error: "File not found" after I chose the first frame and the last frame. I have also entered the delimiter value, "_" (without quote) because the file name is "ben_01.obj" The model is downloaded from this website: https://www.sci.utah.edu/~wald/animrep/. Could you download "Ben" model and test it for me, please?. Thank in advance. -

ya, that's odd and I don't see it on my end and I don't see any reason that this could be caused by the script because it doesn't alter your project path. Maybe try removing your other scripts and your userPrefs.mel preference file – then run it and see if that helps. -

hey Dave, im trying to save me scene, i have a proper projects set,and when ( after i import the obj sequence) i hit save scene, or save scene as, i get the error, and there isn't anything in the script editor, just a "error occurred, could not save file" any ideas here? works great if i don't save tho, so thanks very much for the upload regardless man!! -
Dave Girard said over 11 years ago:
I don't know what you're doing that it asks to save it. You should install the file in your scripts folder and run "objSequenceImporter;" without the quotes. -

hey there, i have an error when i try to save the file, i just get a "error saving file" msg..nothing in the script editer..any ideas,, im on 2012 student licence -
Dave Girard said almost 12 years ago:
you have to specify the frame number delimiter when it asks you. If your filenames are named "filename.001.obj", enter "." without the quotes -
