This is a Maya MEL script. I created this script to move and scale UVs in Maya, easier. It could be a start for building your own script in Maya because the lines are described.
In the "horizontal U" and "vertical V" put the values you need to scale or translate the uvs, then press the button for the action you want to perform.
The Scale+Translate button will perform both actions together.
For the instalation: place the "Edit UVs.mel" in your scripts folder (or any forlder you want on your computer) then load it in Maya Script editor in a MEL window. Oance you load it you can save it as a shelf.
The script should work with any Maya version.
