This script will open every single maya file from the directory that you choose, and execute the mel that you type into the text box of the script's UI. Added the option to import an addtional file into each file in the chosen directory. After the mel is executed, a new file is saved for each original file. A real task saver if you need to do the same thing to a whole bunch of files - there is even a built in timer that will tell you how long it took. Have fun. Sorry, only works on windows.
