ekenryd, My latest version (1.5) will allow you to simply type "realSymmetry" from the MEL command line! -

Hi 4us, I'm not sure I fully understand what you're trying to describe. Can you give me a little more detail about the problem? -

such a good work! I use it with maya 2013 and its working great, really nice some suggestion, when I do this a few times, the color transparency seem to be follow the reference which mean this only can be done once to get the result, I've try to delete the reference, but when I want to use it again Ive simply click that button again, now the reference are follow the exact material with my model. but btw, this is nice :D -

Aha, thanks, will try that. -

I will try to find a solution. In the meantime, if you aren't using shelf buttons, I think you should be able to copy and paste the code into a new keyboard shortcut. I'm not near Maya at the moment to test it, but I think it would behave just like a shelf button and work properly. -

Hm, okay, I have my shelves turned off, if you ever come up with a solution I look forward to using your script :) -

"Installation: Copy and paste the contents of this file into the "Command" of a new custom Shelf button." This is the only way to get it to work. It will not work if you try to install the way you described. I'm sure there is a way to get it to work properly by simply referencig the MEL file, but I have not figured out how to do that yet. -

I can't get it to work. I write source "RealSymmetry_1.4.mel"; into the script editor and I get a menu where I can pick symmetry axis, but whenever I click on an axis-button I get this error: Error: Cannot find procedure "negXpushed" Any idea? Maya 2011.
