Hi,
This is Nareshkumar yakkala (nareshkumaryakkala@gmail.com)
I made this game in Autodesk Maya using python script.
You can play game directly in Maya view port.
It has both single player and multiplayer mode.
In single player mode you have to play with AI and in multi-player mode you can play with up to four people on four different systems using LAN.
Instructions:
Unzip the downloaded file
For single player just open the Ludo.ma file and play.
For Multi player you need to copy extracted folder to a shared folder.
All players should open Ludo.ma file from shared folder only.
Open Ludo.ma file and select multi player mode.
Browse Ludo.Ludo file from the shared folder.
select colour and start game.
If you play as a server you will get reset button while others will not get option to reset.
Start Game:
After opening Ludo.ma file a dialog box will appear on screen. There you have to choose Game mode (Single or Multi player)
And then choose colour which you want to play and press Start Game button.
On right side of the view port you will find two buttons one is for rolling and another one is to reset game.
After roll the result display window will appear with pawn names and you have to choose a pawn to move.
Pawns will animate automatically based on the number you got.
Once your turn is over other people will roll and when it says "it's your turn” you have to roll again. Till then Maya will be on hold
But other people's activity will be updated.
Don't roll if it is not your turn.
Rules:
Each pawn should be unlocked to move.
Pawns will only unlock when you roll six.
The pawn will be locked after die. Again you have to roll 6 to unlock.
The result dialog box will display only valid pawns list which you can move.
After rolling six you will get chance to roll again.
After you kill you will get chance to roll again.
