Please help me. Using maya 2014 mental ray linear workflow. After applying this script image plane is notrendering at all (Compleately black background).
I haven't tested the script with maya 2014, but I don't see why it shouldn't work. Make sure your image plane is turned on when you render. It's worth selecting the image plane and mapping it in the hypershade to see if the file node has the correct image path.
I'll see if can test it out in maya 2014, but like I said, it should work as there's nothing really fancy going on.
Also make sure the pre and post render scripts are in the render globals. Those get placed there when the script is sourced.
