Thanks Grafix96 for the kind words, it's great to hear. File type icons sound interesting, I didn't even think of that. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thank you so much peter, Version 1.4.8 works flawlessly on Windows OS. (Tested on Windows 7 64-bit, Maya 2014) The tool is useful & simple to use with an elegant interface. (I'm Huge fan of interface design) It just immediately became part of my work pipeline, as easily as i can imagine. If you don't mind, I can add more suggestions in the near feature that might be useful to improve the tool, or add some fancy interface touches like, File type icon, Thumbnail colored border. But the tool is just wonderful the way it is right now. simply 5 stars. As a small tribute to your wonderful tool, i started working on the file type icons, and i will try to add a small interface updated look as a prototype. I will tell you as soon as i finish, And i hope you like the design. Thank you, And with all my best wishes.

Thanks Peter...Everything is working...In v1.4.8 release I had to rename one icon to "pwCreate_icon_Sq" because it was still originally named "pwCreate_icon" Beautiful man...

Thanks for the v1.4.6 update...All icons appear now...There is still an error when I click on the folder icon in windows though: import os; os.startfile(mc.textFieldButtonGrp( "pwFolderName_FileTool", q=True, text=True)) // Error: name 'mc' is not defined # Traceback (most recent call last): # File "", line 1, in # NameError: name 'mc' is not defined //

Hey William, OpenPipeline looks pretty interesting. I watched the video & I'll check out the script. There's another script called Simple Tools Asset Manager, which looks cool too. I have created an asset/database script in the past that integrated into perforce but it was for video game specific tools written in mel. If I keep working on this script, I definitely have a lot of ideas that I'd like to implement including referencing, subfolders, xml implementation, playblast previews, proxy options, etc. But that's also a big undertaking. I knocked this thing out pretty quick, just for what I needed. I need to dig into all the asset creation tools maya has and see if I can take advantage of those. I'll post updates as I progress. Thanks!
