after a little confusion, got it working great, you may want to mention that it is going to open a GUI window. thanks again, this is an excellent tool, painting cluster weights is ridiculous. -

Hi, save the script in: C:\Documents and Settings\User\MyDocument\maya\2009\scripts then write in the script editor in a python panel: import maya.cmds as mc import mg_deformerFromSoftSelection as mg mg.deformeFromSoftSelection() Enjpy :) -

Hi mate, i tried your script, i think is very usefull and intuitive...I tried it on a facial setup, it works very good, maybe could be good to have the possibility to mirror the joints (or clusters) in the selected mesh. :) See ya
