Doesn't work. Tried it in Maya 2012 and all I get is a deformation that isn't even look like my curve (simple curve and a long subdivided cuboid) -

seems like a pretty simple operation, not sure what I would use this for but I gave it a test run. It seems as though the script only works well in 2dimensions Y&Z. when I move CV's in the X i get odd results. not sure if it is ment to behave this way. Im no coder so I cant tell the what or the why, but would be nice if all three axis worked. -

The code is a bit sloppy, could use a namespace in front of the name. Not even the best way of doing along curve animation and deformations but i does have its pros. ;) (and yes you can do it in other ways too without bones) Alteast its simple enough fo beginners to uderstand. -
