To use:
Place both the dagKeyManager.py and dagKeyManager.mel scripts in your scripts folder.
Create a MEL shelf button with this command
dagKeyManager -0
Then go to windows>settings/preferences>hotkey editor.
Create 3 new hotkeys. Naming them is up to you. Their contents must be(1 in each):
dagKeyManager -1; //KeyAll
dagKeyManager -2; //KeyTranslation
dagKeyManager -3; //KeyRotation
This is a script that makes managing keys a lot easier.
It lets you organize keys by type: key, breakdown, special very easily and manage their colors.
It lets you convert keys to the specific type as well as have temporary tangent types.
Can convert single keys or multiple keys at a time.
The script is written in pyMel and MEL. pyMEL is bundled with Maya 2011 and higher but is freely available for Mya 8.5 and above.
