Placing in C:\Users\username\Documents\maya\2013-x64\scripts is correct. Ignore the icon for now. Do not load the mel in the Mel side of the script editor, instead follow the install instructions written inside the mel script file: " To install place script (arctracker110.mel) in scripts folder & run the command - arctracker110; " To confirm, you enter ' arctracker110 ' in the command line. -- For a shelf button: Place the command ' arctracker110; ' on your shelf. Or, if intent, place the entire contents of the mel script along with an additional line/command: arctracker110; -- Spence

It makes my screen flash like it is going to ask me for permission to do something...then nothing? Restarted Maya after install. the error i get when I call the script is that it "can't find the procedure arctracker110"

I placed it in C:\Users\username\Documents\maya\2013-x64\scripts and the Icon in the adjoined folder for icons I loaded the mel in the Mel side of the script editor I then highlighted the entire script and hit control enter I then saved the mel to shelf and connected the icon to it, when I hit the shelf button nothing happens, it shows the code in the command line

It works fine for Maya 2013, Windows Did you put the script in the right folder? Did you restart maya after putting it in the right folder or source the script from script editor? If you wrote 'arctracker110' into the command line textfield (and correctly) make sure you have mel active and not python (toggle next to the command line) Check to see if there is any error feedback in the command line (or if have echo all commands on in the script editor, check for errors printed in the script editor) Do you get the window? Did you place objects you wanted to track into the list on the window?

@Humberto Rosa "I did find that if you dock the UI and close it when its docked, the script doesn't launch a new window when executed" This doesn't seem to happen testing the script with, windows 7, maya 2012 "..fact that when you dock it and execute the script again" Changes; when executing the script again the docked window is removed and new floating window is created. Perhaps this will fix the first issue you are having. And before anyone asks this new window is a fresh window and will not list any objects or tracks you may have added to it earlier. Edit: Re-download the script obviously!

This is awesome!! I did find that if you dock the UI and close it when its docked, the script doesn't launch a new window when executed, you have to close maya to get it working again. I guess its related to the fact that when you dock it and execute the script again, it launches a new window along the docked one? Hope that helps, amazing script!!
