Command line plugin (and a simple Mel gui) for taking a *closed* (no holes!!) triangular (must be triangulated!!) Maya mesh and creating a volumetric mesh full of tetrahedrals by means of a modified Netgen code. It spits out a file known as a .vtm - it's a very simple file of my own device containing vertices, and connectivity. Also, the numbering of the vertices matches the numbering of the original Maya mesh. I am working on a 3d volumetric shape node at the moment that will replace this. For now you can just use the cmaTetMeshLocator node to view the .vtm file. Or you can write a simple app to view it - it's really simple!
Help file is in the zip. Mail me if there's any problems. Going to recompile soon for Maya 5 and 6 and on Linux. Apologies for only having 4.5 at the moment. Chris. https://www.londonshootfighters.com
