I love the rig. It's a very good one. Keep up the good work.
I also love the weighting - especially when you rotate his chest and back in Z, you can see a roll of skin.
I can suggest a few improvements:
1. IK/FK switch for the feet (more flexibility), with leg controls
2. A control for the chain around his neck
3. Blend shapes for the face (I'm guessing you're planning to do this anyway)
4. Work on the eyes (eyelids and eye texturing)
5. Try and make the joints and geometry non-selectable.
