Hi, Enno. Great question. The texture maps are located in the sourceimages\floursack_textures\ folder. Make sure you've put those into your maya project, and that you've set your project before opening the rig. Glad to hear you enjoy the rig!
This is the best flour sack rig I've ever used! It poses quickly with just the right amount of controls to get great poses. It's very fun to animate. Also, it renders beautifully because of the nice texture maps.
