Has soft body dynamics which is a nice touch! I'm no animator- but I used this rig briefly in this video as part of a college assignment. Keep in mind that I have *never* animated before. "Burning dude sets parchment on fire" https://www.vimeo.com/user1384343/videos -

I had such a blast animating with this rig. I've never seen a rig with such fantastic squash and stretch. You've touched onto to something amazing here. Having said that, I had the same problems with the ears and motion blur that everyone did. To get around the lack of motion blur you can change the smoothing method in the attribute editor from "Exponential" to "Linear" and bingo. I'd love to see an updated version of this or other rigs using the same technique. I'll be posting some animations of this rig on my site later this week. https://grae.ca G -

i'v been animating whit this rigg just for fun for a while now and i love the rigg. A few stuff u might wanna fix in a update. the left "ear" flips when u rotate "topCnt" or "upperAllCnt" the feet slide when u move "upperAllCnt" or "bottomCnt", not a big problem but i think its just a matter of weight painting so its not very difficult to solve. i can't find the toe control, i don't know if there is any toe control but when i bring up the "rigGut" layer i do see i ik that i can use. it would be nice whit a real control for it. when i try to render the scen i can't get motion blur to work if i have the charcater smoothed. in software the motion blur dosen't show and in mentalray the whole mesh disapears and i get this warning message. "// Warning: (Mayatomr.Scene) : skinShape1: shapes are not equivalent, no motion vectors computed //" if i'm the only one getting this please tell me. change the rotation order to "zxy" on "bottomCnt" "upperAllCnt" "topCnt" and feets so u don't hit gimbal lock when u wanna turn him round. the last thing is a silmular control object u have for the dynamics for the jiggle so u can easily mess whit the setting if needed. if anyone ells have the same problem whit the left ear flipping here a solution i found: bring up the "rigGut" layer and find the "l_clav" joint where the rooth of the ear is and select it, (its a bigger black one) in the channel box look at shapes and find "R arm lockaim WO" and change the value to 0. i don't know what it doses but it fixes the problem and didn't mess anything ells up. i really like the rigg and i hope u fix these things in a future update. u get 4 stars even though there are some problems whit the rigg. /bluder -
