Can't get to work on Maya 2009

Date:04/25/2011

Putting script in scripts folder and calling 'UVDeluxe' and maya cannot 'source script'. Copying and pasting into python script editor and running it doesn't do anything.

And ideas?

Hm, are the two .py files in a folder named UVDeluxe in the script folder? When you do a python import it looks for a module (folder) with that name.
