    Weird, let's try this again.
    Some of the nodes in the rigs are locked to prevent users from deleting the rig. The rig should be deleted through the  UI to make sure all the extra nodes not in the hierarchy (like utilities) are cleaned up. Otherwise rebuilding a rig would error.
     
    To unlock the node for adding an attribute, run the following:
    lockNode -lock off "MAIN_Ctrl";
     
    After making your changes, you probably want to re-lock the node:
    lockNode -lock off "MAIN_Ctrl";
