Hi. This is a noob question I suspect but I can't seem to send a message so I added you as a friend in the hopes of being able to send a message. Anyway heres the problem.
I'm a linux noob also I'm working on gnome but anuja or whatever it's called doesn't seem as well supported as kdev I'm planning on using kde at home anyway. I stuck the file into /usr/share/kde4/apps/katepart/syntax as this seemed the closest to what I needed. But alas it doesn't work. Or perhaps it does and I'm missing something. what sort of project should you be creating? Cause all I see is options for c++ and python and perl etc but no mel. I knowwhen I was using eclipse I used a python project but like I said I'm a bit of a noob inside Linux so it's quite possible I'm missing something. BTW I'm on suse 10.3 running gnome as my primary desktop but this machine has kde installed by the looks of things. I didn't do the install.
