It has not been tested in Max 2014, but you can give it a try installing the latest service pack.

After missing Maya's render layers in 3Ds MAX this is a very welcome script. It is actually amazing how it took so long for something like this to come around. Anyway the script works wonderfully and does what it says. Have not yet used it in a large production but I am very revealed to finally have something like this. Good Job.
