The model has been created using 3ds max 2009 and the textures with Adobe Photoshop CS5, the .psd files used in the creation of the textures are included such that easier changes can be done to the paths and colour scheme, almost all of the logos and shapes were done using paths(only the Premier League logo is of raster type).
The .max scene contains three versions of the ball, one lower poly at 6144tris, one with 13.088 while the other of 22.296, and the models have the full modifier stack still intact so that easier changes can be done or to act like a tutorial for understanding how the model was created.
The are several mappings available for use in certain conditions and to save texture space like the normal map which is of 1024*1024.
Finally, the scene was rendered using the Menta Ray w/ Final Gather and GI, a skylight and a normal map was used for the finer details while a specular map for the Serie A version but with 4096*4096 textures.
So this product contains:
-.max scene(one for 64 bit version of max and one for 32 bit version)
- various formats of the model(.3ds,.obj,.fbx,. dae)
-.tga textures(4096*4096 diffuse maps, 1024*1024 normal map and 4096*4096 specular map) and materials used
-.psd and uvw files used for the creation
PS. For 32 bit users of 3ds max I recommended to use the "build32bit" as it has the whole modifier stack intact compared to the 64 bit one.
