This is a head I created for Animation Magazine and Image Metric's Face-2-Face Contest. I won first place and a pretty sweet laptop. It was sculpted and textured in ZBrush and rendered in Maya with Mental Ray.
This is a portrait of Robert De Nirofrom Cape Fear(1991). I wanted to use only ZBrush renders to create the image. I started with a speedsculpt that took about 1.25 hours, I then polypainted it, modelled the hair, and rebdered out several passes and composited it in Photoshop.
This is a portrait study I sculpted and textured in ZBrush and rendered in Maya with Mental Ray. This uses portal lights, the Fast Skin Shader, and Maya's Hair system.
