i go to outliner and find the group it imported it to. then most the time have to adjust my far plane from 1000-to 10k to make it easyer to see then scale it down position it to the grid then scale it back up . i found most 3ds i have imported 99 percent of the time thier not going to be on the grid …
also if you havent started animating them to move hit freeze transformations on them see if that works. just make sure you save it as a duplicate file before doing any of that
try combining the bullets, duplicate them, delete originals, seperate them and rename them .
