this image was created a looong time back, sometime around may 2004!! it was made for a collaborative challenge over at cgtalk named Evolution.
it was about having 1 designer and one 3d artist get together and create a finished 3d-model. the first price was to have it printed as a maquette at 3darttopart..... and we WON!!! yippaaaah!

this maquette is meant to be in color, and I'll do it one day.. but right now I don't have the colors to do so.. ;)
