This is a still from a 3 minute animated film. I used mental ray's final gather with image-based lighting to give the mouse a "clay" look. I rendered the mouse in two passes, first pass was with just my image map on a sphere for overall lighting; second pass I used a half sphere that was simply white and positioned it to simulate diffuse sun light.

This is a sequence form my short film "Say Cheese". To make the image I took lots of photographs of mouths, basically I went around with a digital camera and made all my friends and collages say "ahh". I then composited the most disgusting elements into a
